Long-distance move from Irving, TX to Roseville, CA

Absolute unsatisfactory.

This is to inform the height of insult, unprofessionalism, stress, anxiety, hassle, harassment and rudeness Proline Moving Company has caused me and my wife over a move from Irving Texas to Roseville California.

We are demanding full reimbursement of $4855.60 plus the damage the moving company has caused to our personal belongings. Attached are the pictures for your review which were taken by your driver as well.

On November 28, 2017, we contacted Proline Moving company & spoke to representative (Ms. Sharon) regarding our move from Irving TX to Roseville CA. Estimated quote of $3621.00 was quoted to us for the move.

Upon review and packing of our house hold items, we called Ms. Sharon again to update our inventory, excluding the packing of Living room, Dining, Family room, Kitchen nook, two bedrooms, Patio furniture, TVs , etc., to be packed by Proline moving. Ms. Sharon updated the inventory list and provided us with an updated estimate for $3740.00.

On December 9, 2017, Mr. Loyd with his team of three movers arrived around 9:15 am with the Old inventory list handed over to him by Ms. Mary their dispatch person as per his confirmation. After spending more than 90 minutes working on his new inventory forms we found that his inventory list was absolutely wrong. When we showed him the updated Email list we received from Ms. Sharon, Mr. Loyd was upset and angry stating Ms. Mary did not give him the correct updated list and now he had to start working from the beginning. Upset Mr. Loyd called his supervisor Mr. Michael complaining about Ms. Mary and informed him of Ms. Mary’s repeated mistakes and him being embarrassed in front of his clients time and again. Mr. Loyd informed us that after Christmas Ms. Mary will not be in office working.

He started working on new inventory list almost after two hours and added additional items which we could not figure out but let him complete his job. His movers started packing the furniture.

We signed the paper work with request to deliver the household in CA on 12/19/2017. New moving cost now went up from $3740.00 to $4855.60. Mr. Loyd informed us the price increase was for the increase in packing cost as they used more packing material which Ms. Sharon did not know. It was not for any additional items what soever.

Mr. Loyd informed us if we wanted to change the delivery date we could, by calling the office on Monday, 12/11/2017 with new delivery date. We called Ms. Sharon and informed her to change the delivery date to 12/21/2017 as our house in CA would not be ready for delivery by 12/19/2017. Ms. Sharon changed the delivery date to 12/21/2017, put us on hold and confirmed with their dispatch department that delivery date was changed.

Also we informed Ms. Sharon of the increase in cost for which she was surprised. Ms. Sharon stated we will be kept informed of our move starting from their warehouse, during the transit, a day before the delivery, two hours before and 30 minutes before the actual delivery.

On 12/15/2017 we received call from Ms. Mary that she has a truck available for our household to be delivered on 12/19/17. We informed her delivery date was changed to 12/21/2017. Ms. Mary stated that on the paper work she received the delivery date was for 12/19/2017 and not 12/21/2017. We tried explaining that our house would not be ready by 12/19/2017. Very rudely she stated that she booked the truck for delivery on 12/19/2017 and if we don’t receive on 12/19/2017 it will be delivered after the 1st of the new year. Otherwise more than $750.00 per day will be charged extra for holding. After her continuous threatening, we were left with no option than to agree to be delivered by 12/19/2017. She confirmed that she will call back 12/15/17 to confirm the dispatch. We received no confirmation call.

We called Ms. Sharon, their office at 1-800-893-5261 number of times, left messages but never received a call back. On 12/16/2017 Emailed at info@prolinemoving.com with details regarding the upsetting change and harassment call from Ms. Mary.

Ms. Sharon called back in response to our Email and stated why did we change the date to 12/19/2017. We explained her regarding the upsetting call we received from Ms. Mary and requested her to help us and have our household delivered as requested by 12/21/2017. She stated she could not help in this matter only the Supervisor Mr. Michael could help. She will call him, explain him of the situation who in return will call us back.

We received a call from Michael on 12/18/17 that he could not help us to deliver our shipment on 12/21/17 and charges to hold the goods for 2 extra days is not $750.00 per day but it’s $500.00 per day but he will get back to let us know how he can help. Mean time Michael and Mary tried calling driver but they could not get hold of driver, we even received an email from Mary on 12/18/17 that delivery driver is not available. According to contract we should receive a call from driver day before delivery date to schedule time to delivery on 12/19/17 but we did not get any call from driver.

On 12/19/17 we received an email from Mary that they will charge us $500.00 to hold the goods for one day and our goods will be delivered on 12/20/17. We are supposed to fill out a release form and get notarized before they can deliver goods on 12/20/17.
First of all we were not informed that driver cannot deliver on 12/19/17 and then Mary’s threatening email and phone call stated they will not deliver goods till we send notarized paper work that Michael giving us $500.00 coupon for one day delay of holding the goods. It’s not our fault that driver got delayed on 12/18/17 so there is no need of any coupon to use.

Michael and Mary both came on phone line about 4pm on 12/19/17 and threatened that if we did not send us the signed & notarized coupon they will not deliver goods on 12/20/17. We tried our best to explain that your driver got late on 12/18/17 and he did not call on 12/18/17 per contract to deliver good on 12/19/17 so you should deliver goods on 12/20/17. But Michael did not agree and insisted to fill out coupon release documents. At that point he said they can deliver today 12/19/17 and we don’t have to fill out release document. While on phone about 4pm on 12/19/17 Michael and Mary spoke with driver and advised us that goods could be delivered today 12/19/17 at 8pm.

Driver came to our home at 9:30pm with an 18 wheeler truck and finished the unloading and unpacking of our shipment at 2:30am on 12/20/17, freezing cold night.

Please note that the driver stated that he was forced to deliver our shipment on the 12/19/17 where as he was scheduled to deliver on 12/20/17.

As per contract requirement, we submitted the claim for the damaged / broken furniture (household goods) to the Moving Claims department so called an Independent Company. After almost five months their last Email states that their services have been terminated. And as such the claim has to be reviewed by the moving company only.

We have already sent them the Emails as well.

We therefore, submit for your immediate intervention to investigation and help us for our requested refund of $4855.60 for moving cost and $5720.23 for the broken furniture, Toal of $10,575.83.

Long-distance move from Fort Worth, TX to Potomac, MD

Stress free.

My move was quick and stress free with Proline Moving & Storage! I hired this company for my recent move last month and it was by far the best experience I’ve had with a moving company in a very long time. Michael, who came to give me the quote, was very nice and knowledgeable, overall great experience from start to finish. They were reasonably priced and took a good care of my possessions. The crew was on-time, courteous, professional and hard working. There was not one instance where anyone was wasting precious time or any attempt at extending the length of the move. I was thoroughly impressed. I recommend Proline Moving & Storage to anyone who wants reliable, honest, and expeditious movers.

Long-distance move from Fort Worth, TX to Huntertown, IN

Company closed with all of our furniture.

BEWARE!! These 5 star reviews are lies on top of lies. To begin with if you contact Mayflower Transit, they contract out your move to shady movers like Proline Movers. These are criminal organizations. Proline Movers company charged us nearly $6,000 to move our household from Fort Worth, TX to Fort Wayne, IN. They doubled the price on the day they came and picked up our items, but then we were in a bind. It took them 10 hours to load the moving truck. The "supervisor", Lloyd Smith (which happens to be the name of the owner, what a surprise) did nothing but sit on his rear and add up why our bill was going to be twice as much as originally quoted. That was July 2nd. We wrote them a check and they cashed it the next day  Originally we told by Lloyd and Mary our move would take between 3-14 business days.
I tried to call to check in with them on day 14, left a voicemail, and received an email the phones were broken, and they envoked a clause that would allow them up to 30 business days for delivery, and if we didn't like their service we could pick our stuff up or arrange for someone else to pick it up. During the course of our wait, about 19 days in,  I tried to contact someone at Proline to try to get some idea when our household would be here? where we are in line? are they having trouble finding a driver? Even though they advertise having their own trucks and drivers. No response to calls and no response to emails. August 1st I received an email stating PROLINE MOVERS COMPANY HAS CLOSED, the second email stated, THE COMPANY HAS CLOSED DOWN, from the billing department (billing@proline.com) We could come pick up our stuff up except they didn't bother to tell us where and when we could pick up our items. So we called Mayflower who put us in touch with MOVE RESCUE (800-832-1773). MOVE RESCUE began trying to help us get our belongings. So Proline Aka  24 Hour Movers (they have two different company names run by all the same criminal players) sent us an email to pick a date and time we could come pick up our items, but no address. I was able to get a hold of Lloyd the night before we were to leave. Our furniture and boxes were sitting on a 24 Hour Movers trailer, who's DOT license is currently revoked, in the 110 degree heat, not an environment controlled warehouse, along with two other loads of people's belongings, shipments #2 and #3, we were number #1. They opened the side door, we were able to get our stuff. Shipment #3 items fell over into the hole of were our stuff had been, just crashed over like an avalanche. Some of our stuff was not in good shape, like broke off the top of our queen size headboard, and the whole big piece is missing, kitchen chair crushed, small chess table destroyed beyond repair, etc. Just so everyone knows, do not use these people. I have filed a complaint and spoken to the Attorney General's office in Texas, Move Rescue Attorney, DOT, TXDMV, the BBB, FMSCA, an attorney from Texas and an attorney from Indiana, because we are expecting a FULL REFUND FOR OUR MOVE CONTRACT NOT COMPLETED, THE PLANE TICKETS FOR COMING BACK TO TEXAS, RENTAL OF A 26 FOOTER UHAUL, HOTEL, FOOD, GAS AND BED RENTAL.  And I am just getting started. I have given these agencies all the names or known aliases, Llyod Smith, Jacob Gold and Mary Combs.
I had to let people know what this so called company is about so that someone else doesn't become a victim of these crooks! If you have been a victim of this "business" contact the DOT (DOT Fraud Hotline: 888-368-7238) They control all interstate moving companies. They will advise you on who to contact so you can service a law suit against Proline Aka 24 Hour Movers. Our processor is  IN-AFFORDABLE PROCESS SERVICE, INC.

Do Not Use This Company. They Are Criminals.

Beware of this company, Nir Cohen, Lloyd Smith and Michael Han. They will hold you belongings for ransom and try to make you pay and keep paying until they have extorted enough money from you. I researched some moving companies online and proline seemed to be a reputable company with decent reviews. However they are not what they seem. The owner of the company Nir Cohen assumed the company name of a reputable company where the owner had died. He and his group of employees have started numerous moving companies that are now out of business due to bad reviews and shady business practices. Some of the other moving companies that he has started in Dallas include 24 Hours Moving and Inline Moving. There are more according to the DMV agents that I worked with to get my furniture and personal belongs from Proline once they held them hostage. The owner was using another name calling himself Michael Han when I was negotiating to get our things back from them. His real name is Nir Cohen as I have mentioned before. You can do a google search for him and find more of the companies that he has started that are out of business or you can google 4852 Top Line Dr Dallas TX to see the moving companies that he has started using that address. This the address of their warehouse where they hold the customers things hostage. The DMV agents told us that there was one case they just got the lady's things back after 2 years of Nir holding them hostage. All the while he was extorting money from the poor lady.

Awesome company and fantastic movers!

This was a good experience. I move frequently and sometimes to multiple locations personally and for business. In this case, as experienced as I am, I underestimated the work involved. I wasn't ready. They stayed extra hours and got it done. Along the way, I felt the trust relief: they weren't sloppy; I didn't have to watch the back door; they didn't look at the clock but rather the job. In the end, I gave extra because I felt, well, what had been saved for me psychologically and materially.

Long-distance move from Texas to Arizona

Unprofessional.

This was not a stress free move, very unprofessional, I moved from Dallas to Arizona., Movers showed up 3 hours late day of move, gave me a discount however I told the guy I had to drive 14 hours and he was putting me behind schedule, This was on a Sat., of course the office is closed on weekends, left several messages and no one called me back. I had to call them on Monday, then to make matters worse the driver told me lie after lie as to when my furniture would be there, and a week later my furniture arrived, If you want a stress free long distance move do not use them!!

Long-distance move from Dallas, TX to Castle Rock, CO

Be Careful.

This company is a totally Scam Originally we signed a contract for $3500 to move my parents furniture out from Dallas to Colorado. we Signed all the paperwork, and to start with.. the movers arrived almost two
hours late without letting us know we called their company and no one answer the phone. very unprofessional once they got there the quote went up to almost $7000 we refused to pay that amount and request to talk to a supervisor we called the company and of course no one answer the phone the supervisor Michael, wasn't available Lloyd the foreman was extremely rude he has no manners to talk to customers. he couldn't explain the extra charges. we decided to cancel the move and we were charged cancellation fee plus they kept our deposit. we have been doing some research in regards of this company and the owner of the company is Lloyd Smith just like their foreman, and by the way they don't own their own trucks and their sales Rep, are not located in USA. deliveries also take up to 14 business days.. please be careful with this company we have hired another company and everything went great. I don't recommend this company to anyone and should be put out of business.
